Chinthai

Chinthai is located on 1st Main Road, number 5, right in the heart of Andheri. It’s a busy spot because this part of town never really seems to slow down. We are just a small establishment trying to keep up with the pace of the street. The building is older, and we’ve tried to make the most of the space we have. Every morning starts with us opening the shutters and getting the place ready for whoever walks in. Being on the 1st Main Road means we get a lot of foot traffic from people heading to work or the station. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who handle everything from the cleaning to talking to the customers. Andheri is a mix of everything, and our shop reflects that. We see all kinds of people throughout the day. Some are in a huge rush and others have a bit more time to linger. We try to keep things organized, but it can get chaotic when the street is crowded. Our setup is pretty basic, with just the essentials we need to run things. We’ve learned to deal with the noise of the traffic and the general bustle of the area. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we find our own rhythm in it. We keep a ledger to track our daily sales and sometimes we sit on the stools near the door when it's quiet just to watch the cars go by. It’s a steady existence for us in Andheri.
