If you find yourself on Andheri 1st Main Road 5, you’ll probably see our sign. We’ve been running Chinthai out of this spot for some time now. It’s a tight space, but we make it work. Most of the day is spent prepping in the back. There isn't much room to move around when we have more than three people in the kitchen, so we have to stay organized. The street outside is always noisy with autos and people walking to work, which keeps things interesting. We don’t have a big fancy menu with pictures; we just tell people what we have for the day. Sometimes we run out of things earlier than expected, especially on Fridays. It’s just the way it is. We buy our vegetables from the local market every morning. Carrying the crates in through the front door is a bit of a workout. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, we haven’t had the time to close down for a day to do it. We mostly just focus on the cooking and making sure the stove stays lit. It’s a humble place. You won't find anything overly special here, just us doing our jobs and trying to keep the place tidy. We know most of our neighbors by name, and they usually stop in for a quick chat even if they aren't buying anything. It is just a normal neighborhood shop.
