Chintamani Art Jewellers

Our shop, Chintamani Art Jewellers, sits at 31/A in Dadar West, specifically in the Zaveri Bazar area within Capital Market. If you know Dadar, you know how crowded it gets, especially near the market. We spend most of our time behind the counter looking at pieces and talking to people who walk in. The Zaveri Bazar area is always humming with noise. There’s always someone hauling something or shouting across the lane. At 31/A, we have our displays set up. They aren't the flashiest, but they hold everything we have. We keep the shop clean, though the dust from the street always finds a way in. It’s a tight space, but we make it work. Most days are long. We open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. Chintamani Art Jewellers has been part of this street for a bit. People stop by to ask prices or just to look. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just jewelry and art. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink chai. Other days, three families come in at once and it gets a bit hectic. We just try to keep track of everything and make sure the shutters are locked tight at night. It’s just a normal shop in a busy market.
