Chemzone Corporation

We are located in Masjid Bunder West, specifically on Kazi Sayed Street. If you know this area, you know how crowded and narrow the lanes are around here. Chemzone Corporation is right in the thick of it at number 135/139. We have been operating from this spot for a very long time. This area is really the heart of the trading business in Mumbai. My day is mostly about dealing with bags and drums of different chemicals and coordinating deliveries. It is a very old building and the stairs are quite steep and narrow. We spend a lot of time talking to the loaders and the trucks that can barely fit through the streets without hitting something. It is a loud, dusty, and very busy environment. There are always people shouting and handcarts moving past the entrance. I sit at an old wooden desk with a lot of files and papers piled up. We do not have a website or any of those modern things; we just work through old-school contacts and word of mouth. The smell of the chemicals is something you get used to after a while, though it can be quite strong on hot days. It is hard work, especially during the summer heat in these cramped lanes. But there is a certain energy to Masjid Bunder that I have grown to like. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure the supplies keep moving. It is a traditional way of doing business.
