Chemical & Fragrance Corporation

We operate out of the Minerva Premises Co-Operative Society in Sewree West. Our unit is D-18 on the second floor on Bunder Road. Being in a cooperative society means we are surrounded by other small businesses doing all sorts of things. The building has that industrial feel to it, with wide hallways and heavy doors. At Chemical & Fragrance Corporation, the air usually has a bit of a scent to it because of what we handle. It's not one specific smell, just a mix of things we are working with that day. We spend a lot of time moving containers and checking labels. The second floor location means we see a lot of the activity in the courtyard below. Bunder Road can get quite congested with trucks and deliveries, so we have to plan our timing right. We have a small team here and everyone knows their job. It’s not a polished corporate office with glass walls. It’s a working space where things get a bit dusty and the floors show the wear and tear of daily use. We’ve got our storage area organized as best we can. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. It’s a busy environment but we have a good rhythm. We mostly just focus on getting our orders out and keeping the inventory in order. It's a solid place to work.
