Our office is located in the Navjivan Building on Kazi Sayed Street. If you’ve ever been to the Masjid area, you know how crowded and narrow the streets are. It’s a hub for all kinds of trading and wholesale business. We are on the fifth floor in room 507. Getting up there can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we'd like. We deal with chemical supplies and general trade. The office is filled with files, small samples, and the constant sound of phones ringing. Outside on Kazi Sayed Street, there are handcarts and laborers moving heavy goods all day long. It's a very busy and loud environment. We’ve been in this building for many years now. We know the other tenants on our floor and the guys who deliver the mail. It’s not a quiet place to work, but there's a lot of energy in this part of town. We spend our hours talking to suppliers and arranging transport for the orders. Everything is about logistics and timing here in Masjid. We don't have fancy decor or new furniture, just functional desks and shelves full of old paperwork. It gets quite hot in the summer months, and the streets get muddy during the rain. But this is where the business happens, so we stay put and keep doing our job every day. We usually grab a quick snack from the street vendors.
