Our place is located at 20, Prabhadevi Industrial Estate, right on Vir Savarkar Marg. Being in Prabhadevi, it gets pretty crowded around here with all the traffic and people moving about constantly. We have been in this building for many years, specifically up in unit 408. It is an old industrial estate, so the lifts can be a bit slow sometimes and the hallways are quite narrow. Chemco Dyestuffs Pvt. Ltd. is where we spend most of our waking hours. The rooms are full of color samples and big plastic containers. Sometimes the air smells a bit sharp because of the dyes we handle, but you stop noticing it after ten minutes of being inside. We have a small team, and we all kind of do a bit of everything during the day. One minute I am checking a ledger and the next I am helping someone move a heavy crate. It is not the kind of place with air-conditioned glass offices. It is more of a functional space where real work actually gets done. We have a lot of regular customers who have been buying from us since the very beginning. They know the way to our door. It is a bit cramped with all the stock we keep on hand, but we know where everything is kept. We just keep our heads down and get the mixing and packing finished. It is a steady rhythm. No one here is trying to impress anyone, we just want to get things done.
