If you come down to Chembur Colony and look for MS Building No. 13/455, you will find us there. We have been working out of this space for a good while now, surrounded by all sorts of beads, metals, and stones. It is a small setup, nothing too fancy, just a few tables where we sit and put things together. Sometimes the place looks like a disaster zone with little pieces of jewellery scattered everywhere, but we eventually get it sorted out. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights. Most of our work happens right here on these wooden desks. People from the colony often drop by just to say hello or see what we are working on today. It can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in, but we make it work. My sister and I started this because we liked making things, and it just grew into a small business. We don't use big words or pretend to be more than we are. We just make jewellery that looks nice and hope people like it. The building itself is old, so there’s always something that needs fixing, like a leaky tap or a flickering light. But it’s home to us. We just take it one day at a time, making sure every necklace or pair of earrings is put together properly before it goes out.
