Charchit Chemical is tucked away in the Shetty Compd. over in the Dindoshipada area. It is a bit of a maze back here if you are not used to these narrow streets and the way the buildings are laid out. We have been operating out of unit C-18 for quite some time now. The space we have is not huge, but we make it work for what we need to do. Dealing with chemicals means things can get a bit messy or have a very strong smell sometimes, but we are all used to it by now. It is mostly just us handling the drums and making sure everything is stored exactly where it should be. The neighbors all know us, and we try to keep to ourselves for the most part. There is always some loading or unloading of trucks happening near the entrance. Sometimes the rain makes the compound a bit difficult to navigate with all the mud, but we manage. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just handle the orders as they come in and try to keep our inventory straight. It involves a lot of manual lifting and checking the labels on the bottles. My desk is usually covered in papers and sample vials that I have not gotten around to tidying up yet. It is just practical work. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and find whoever is free. It is a straightforward setup.
