Chapman Engineering Work

If you are looking for us, we are tucked away in the Suleman Irfan Compound. It’s right in the middle of Kranti Nagar in Kandivali West. Our spot is Gala Number 2. It can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the area, but the Gandhi Vidhya Madir High School is a big landmark nearby. You can usually hear the sound of machines or the school kids playing depending on the time of day. We spend a lot of time inside the shop dealing with metal and tools. It is a bit cramped sometimes with all the parts lying around, but we know where everything is. The compound stays busy with other small businesses too. We see the same faces every morning when we open up. It’s an old school kind of engineering place, nothing flashy. We wear our work clothes and don't mind getting grease on our hands. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, but that’s just part of it. Kandivali West has changed a lot, but this corner feels pretty much the same. We just focus on the tasks at hand and get through the day. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall down the road. It’s a honest day’s work in a neighborhood we know well. We are just here doing what we know how to do, handling the repairs and the fabricating whenever someone stops by the compound gate.
