Down in Raigad, specifically in Plot No.-1, Sector-11 of Khanda Colony, is where our college stands. Most people around here just call it CKT. It’s a big place because we have arts, commerce, and science all under one roof. That means there’s a huge mix of students, from those carrying lab coats to others with accounts books. The building is quite large and takes up a good chunk of the street. It’s always crowded, especially during the morning shift when everyone arrives at once. We’ve got the usual stuff like a big library, some science labs that smell like chemicals, and a canteen that’s usually too loud. Khanda Colony has grown a lot around us, so there are plenty of shops and places for students to go once classes are over. The staff here has their hands full with so many departments, but we manage to keep the schedule going. It’s not a fancy private place; it’s a solid local college where kids from New Panvel and the surrounding areas come to get their degrees. You’ll see a lot of people waiting for the local trains or buses nearby. It’s just a regular, hardworking college that’s become a big part of the neighborhood over the years, and we just keep doing what we do.
