Chandra Transport

We’re located right on the Link Road in Jogeshwari West. It’s a busy spot, especially being so close to the Mega Mall. You can usually see our trucks or our guys hanging around the office area when things are moving. The traffic on Link Road is something we have to deal with every single day; it’s never-ending. Our office is pretty basic, just a place to keep the keys and the logbooks. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where the drivers are and if they’ve hit any trouble on the way. It gets pretty dusty inside because of all the vehicles passing by outside, so we’re always wiping down the desks. It’s not a glamorous life, just a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing. We know the roads around here like the back of our hand, including all the shortcuts that don't really work anymore because of the new construction. Most of our day is just making sure things get from point A to point B without too much fuss. We’ve been in Jogeshwari for a long time, so we’ve seen the mall go up and the whole area get more crowded. We just keep our heads down and try to keep the wheels turning. When the day is over, we’re usually just tired and ready to get away from the noise.
