Chandra Enterprises

Chandra Enterprises is our little spot over here on Bharucha Road in Kandivali East. We’ve been around for a good while now, long enough to see the shops next door change hands a few times. Our building is number 12236, though the numbers are getting a bit faded on the wall outside. Most of our days start pretty early when the sun is just coming up over the rooftops. We get the shutters open and try to sweep the dust out before it gets too hot. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. We have some old desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job just fine. People from the neighborhood drop by mostly. Sometimes they stay for a bit of a talk about the weather or how the local trains are running. We don’t have any big slogans or anything. We just handle our daily business and try to keep things moving. There is always some paperwork to catch up on, and the phone rings more than you’d think. By late afternoon, the street gets really busy with people coming back from work. We usually stay until the lights come on outside. It’s a quiet life in some ways, just keeping the shop running and making sure things are where they should be. We don’t really do much advertising because everyone around here already knows where we are.
