Chandra Arts & Crafts

We've been at Vikas on Bank Street for a while now. It’s on the 3rd floor. Most people find us when they’re looking for specific craft items or art supplies in the Fort area. We handle a lot of different things here. It gets a bit busy sometimes because the office space isn't huge, but we make it work. Usually, it's just us sorting through orders and making sure the inventory is right. We deal with various traditional crafts and decorative bits. If you walk down Bank Street, you might miss the building if you aren't looking, but we've been in this spot for years. The stairs can be a bit much sometimes, but that’s just how these old buildings in Fort are. We don't really do much advertising. People usually just hear about us from other shops or find our address online and come by to see what we have in stock. There’s always piles of things around the room. Sometimes we’re packing boxes, other times we’re just chatting with someone who stopped in. It’s a simple setup. We keep the doors open during the day and try to stay organized, though it's hard when new shipments come in. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here on the third floor doing our thing with the arts and crafts stuff every single day of the week.
