Chandan Furnishers

We are located over at 9th Khetwadi Lane, right in the R.K. Building. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty packed around here during the day. We’ve been at No. 2 for quite some time now, just making furniture and dealing with the usual daily stuff that comes with running a shop in this part of town. It’s mostly wood shavings and the sound of hammers most mornings. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that, just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the lane is so blocked with trucks that getting a finished table out the door is a real project in itself. People walk by all the time, poking their heads in to see what we’re working on. It’s a bit noisy, and the dust gets everywhere, but that’s just how it is. We spend most of our time measuring things out or trying to find where someone put the sandpaper. It’s not a quiet job. The R.K. Building has a lot of history, and we’re just one part of it, tucked away in the lane. We don't do much in the way of big advertisements, mostly just locals coming in because they saw our sign or heard about us from a neighbor. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever order came in that week. It's a simple way to spend the day, really.
