Central Handloom

Central Handloom is over at Shop No 52. We are on Ramchandra Bhatt Marg. It’s the 5th Cross on the 29th Main road. We are pretty close to Khadak in the Masjid Bunder area. This part of the city is always moving. There are people everywhere and it’s always loud. Our shop is just one of many on the street. We’ve been here at Masjid Bunder for a long time. The handloom stuff takes up most of the space. It’s stacks of fabric and materials everywhere you look. It’s not a big fancy store with lights. It’s just a regular shop where we do our business. Ramchandra Bhatt Marg is a busy place, so we see a lot of different people every day. We don't really have a website or anything like that. People just know where Shop No 52 is. We open up early and stay late most days. The air can get a bit heavy with all the dust and fabric but that’s just how it goes. We know most of the other shop owners around here. It’s a good spot if you like being in the middle of everything. We just keep things moving and try to help anyone who walks in. It’s honest work and it’s been our life for years. Masjid Bunder is home to us. We enjoy the chai from the guy who walks by every afternoon with his kettle. It's the small things that make the day go by faster.
