Celluar Point

We’ve been at Celluar Point in Andheri East for some time now. Our shop is tucked away on B V Chandan Street. It’s one of those narrow streets where everyone knows each other’s business. If you walk past, you’ll probably see us standing out front or talking to the guy from the tea stall next door. Andheri is always moving fast, and our street is no different. We started this because we liked phones and wanted to stay local. The shop is small, maybe a bit cluttered sometimes with boxes and tools everywhere. We try to keep it organized, but when it gets busy, that goes out the window. It’s not some big showroom. It’s just a place where we work. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the rain leaks a bit near the door, but we manage. Most of our customers are people who live in the buildings around here or workers passing through on their way home. We don’t have any fancy mission statements. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see who comes in. It’s a decent life. My cousin helps out when he can. We usually have the radio playing in the background. It gets loud with the traffic from the main road nearby, but that’s just Andheri for you. We’re just happy to be part of the street and see the regulars every single day. It keeps us going through the long afternoons.
