Cell Shopee

Malad West is a fast place and Ekta Market is even faster. Cell Shopee is tucked in Sector 45D at 213/74. It’s a tight squeeze in the market, but we make it work. Most days are spent looking at screens or trying to find a specific part in a drawer that somehow always gets messy. People come in upset because their phone died or the screen broke, and we just see what can be done. It is a lot of sitting and focused work. The lighting in the shop is a bit bright, but it helps when you are dealing with tiny screws. We’ve been here since the market was a bit smaller than it is now. My tea guy knows exactly when to bring the cutting chai around four. We don’t have a website or anything too modern for the business itself, just the physical shop. You walk in, we talk, and we see if we can help. Some days are slow and we just sit outside on the stool watching the traffic. Other days, there are three people talking at once. It gets loud. We don't use fancy uniforms or scripts. We just answer the questions people have. The floor needs a new tile near the entrance but it’s been that way for a year. It feels like home to us and we like being here.
