Cell Centre

Cell Centre is a small shop located in Goregaon West, specifically in the Burail 11 area. We’ve been here for a while, and the shop has become a bit of a familiar sight for people walking by. It’s not a very big space, just enough for a couple of display cases and a small workbench in the back where all the actual work happens. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps when you are trying to look at tiny screws inside a phone. We have all sorts of old parts and boxes tucked away on the shelves. Most days are spent hunched over a desk, trying to figure out why a screen won't turn on or why a button is stuck. It’s quiet work, except for the noise of the street outside. We get a lot of people who are in a hurry because they can't live without their phones. We try to be quick, but some things just take time. We don't have any big mission statements or goals written on the wall. We just want to get through the day’s repairs and go home to our families. Sometimes we sit on the stool out front when there are no customers, just to get some fresh air. It’s a decent way to earn a living, and the people in Goregaon are generally okay to deal with.
