Castelind Engineering Works

Castelind Engineering Works is located on the 1st floor at 3, Nathaline Industrial Estate. We are right opposite the Vijay Printing bus stop on the Andheri-Kurla Road in Saki-Naka. Being on the first floor means we have to haul everything up and down, which keeps us in good shape. The traffic outside on the Andheri-Kurla Road is almost always jammed, so we hear a lot of horns honking throughout the day. Our space is filled with various machines and workbenches that have been around for years. We do a lot of small-scale engineering work that requires a lot of attention to detail. The windows stay open to let the fumes out, but that also lets the dust from the road in. Saki-Naka is a tough place to work because it is so crowded, but we have made our spot here quite comfortable over time. We have a small corner for taking breaks where there is an old radio that usually plays the local stations. Most of the people working here have been friends for a long time, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed even when we are busy. We don't bother with fancy brochures or anything like that. If someone needs work done, they usually just walk up the stairs and ask us. We tell them what we can do and how long it will take. It is just how we operate.
