Calcutta Carriers

Our business, Calcutta Carriers, is based out of Gala No 30 in Satya Nagar. This is in the Sakinaka area, which is always moving and full of energy. If you’ve ever been to Sakinaka, you know how busy the roads are with trucks and cars. It’s a practical place for a transport company to be. The gala itself is a simple warehouse space where we keep our records and some equipment. It’s not meant for visitors to look at, it’s a working space. There’s usually a bit of dust and the smell of the city coming in through the door. We spend a lot of our time coordinating where trucks need to go and making sure everything is loaded correctly. We have been doing this for many years, so we understand how the transport business works in this part of the city. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We just have a desk, some stools, and our phones. Most of our days are long and we deal with all sorts of delays and traffic problems. It’s not an easy job, but it’s what we know. The guys who drive the trucks are the ones who do the hard work on the road. We just try to keep things organized from the gala. It’s a straightforward, honest way to make a living. We’re just part of the landscape here in Satya Nagar.
