Byl Nair Hospital

This section of Nair Hospital is located over at Mumbai Central. It is a huge complex and can be a bit confusing to navigate if you haven't been here before. We are part of the main medical and college setup here. The area is always buzzing with activity because of the nearby station and all the people coming into the city. We have been providing medical care to the public for decades. The buildings are old and have that typical government feel to them. We don't have any corporate branding or sleek offices. It is just a lot of wards, doctors, and students running around. We take in patients from all walks of life, often those who can't afford the big private hospitals. It gets very busy, especially in the mornings when the outpatient departments open up. You will see people waiting everywhere, but we do our best to get through the lists. The staff is used to the pressure of a high-volume hospital. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just know we have to see the patients who show up. If you are looking for us, just head towards Mumbai Central and look for the hospital gates. It is a landmark in itself, so most taxi drivers know exactly where to drop you off. It can be a long wait, but we try to help everyone who comes to Mt & Mc.
