Bunty Roadlines

Bunty Roadlines is tucked away in the Milan Industrial Estate, specifically at A 52, Bandra West. It’s near Yawan Apartments, which is how most people find us if they get lost. Being in an industrial estate means it’s never quiet. There are always engines running and people shouting directions. Our office is small and mostly filled with logbooks and old calendars. We handle road transport, which means we spend half our lives on the phone with drivers in different states. Bandra West has changed a lot, but this industrial pocket stays pretty much the same. It’s gritty and practical. We don't have a fancy waiting area or air conditioning that works all the time. Usually, we just have a big fan blowing the papers around. We deal with all sorts of cargo, sometimes big machinery and other times just sacks of basic goods. There’s always a bit of grease on the floor from the trucks parked nearby. We know the shortcuts around the city to avoid the worst traffic, though it's getting harder these days. We’ve worked with some of the same companies for decades. They know where to find us and they know we don't disappear when things get difficult. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what pays the bills. Most of us have been working here since we were young. We’re just a bunch of people trying to keep things moving on the road every day.
