Bulbul Refrigeration

If you’re looking for Bulbul Refrigeration, we are right at Shop No 5 in Mahakal Wadi on C S Road in Dahisar. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with old fridge parts and tools. We’ve been fixing cooling units for a long time now. The place is usually a bit of a mess with copper pipes and gas cylinders sitting around. We don't have a fancy waiting area; most people just stand by the door or come back later. During the summer, we’re absolutely swamped and the phone doesn't stop ringing. It gets pretty stressful trying to get to everyone’s house on time. My hands are usually covered in grease or some kind of sealant by noon. We have an old stool in the corner where we sit to have our lunch, usually between jobs. The shop is quite dark, so we have to use bright work lights to see what we’re doing inside the machines. We’ve seen all kinds of fridges, from the really old ones that weigh a ton to the newer ones that are all electronics. Sometimes the parts we need are hard to find, so we have to hunt around different markets. We’re just a local crew trying to keep things running. There’s no big corporate office here, just a workbench and a lot of hard work. We like being part of the Dahisar community and knowing our regulars. It is a tough job but someone has to do it properly. We keep going until the work finishes.
