Buhari Hotel

You can find Buhari Hotel on BP Road 1 in Goregaon East. It’s not actually a hotel where you stay the night, but more of a local eatery like many people call them here. We open up pretty early to get the tea going. The smell of frying food and fresh chai usually fills the street before most people are even awake. We have a few tables and chairs, nothing fancy, just a place for people to sit for a bit and have a meal. The road outside is always busy with people heading to the station or going to work. We get all sorts of customers. Some are regulars who have been coming here for years, and others are just passing through and need a quick bite. The kitchen is always a bit chaotic, especially during the lunch rush when everyone wants their food at the same time. We don't have a printed menu that changes every week. We just cook what we know people like. It’s a lot of washing dishes and cleaning tables, but we like the bustle of it. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy serving customers to worry about that. It’s a simple life running a small hotel in Goregaon. We just try to keep the food hot and the tea strong for whoever walks in the door and wants to sit for a while.
