B.T. Plastic & Allied Industries is located over in Wadala at the Royal Ind. Estate. Our unit is B-30. If you have been to Naigaum 'X' Road, you probably know the area. It’s an industrial spot, so it is never really quiet. There is always the sound of machinery or trucks moving around. We have been here for years and we know most of the neighbors. The space at B-30 is packed with materials and the things we make. It isn't a showroom; it is a place where work actually happens. We deal with plastics and other related stuff every single day. It can get quite warm in the unit, especially during the summer months in Mumbai. We just open the doors and keep going. We don't have a fancy reception area with a bowl of mints. Usually, you’ll find us in our work clothes, probably busy with a machine or checking a delivery. Wadala is a central place which helps with getting things shipped out. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us because they need something specific and heard we were the ones to ask. It is a straightforward business. We make things, we sell them, and we try to keep the bills paid. It’s a bit gritty and real, just like the rest of the industrial estate. We like it that way. It is just how we operate.
