Worli Village is a maze of small lanes and old houses, and Dsilva House is right in the middle of it. We are at 124/I, near the Waras Lane Mandal. Bright Future Academy isn't a big, shiny school. It is more of a local neighborhood spot where we help out the kids from around here. The building is old, and you can feel the history of Worli when you walk through the doors. We have a few rooms where we set up our tables. It gets a bit crowded when everyone shows up at once, but we manage. The sounds of the village are always there—people talking, scooters passing by, and the smell of the sea sometimes if the wind is right. We don't have fancy computer labs or big playgrounds. We just have our books and our time. It’s an honest place. We spend a lot of time just talking to the families who live nearby. Most of us grew up around here or have been here so long it feels like it. We have to fix the roof sometimes after the monsoon, and the paint is peeling in a few corners, but it doesn't stop the work. It’s just a simple academy for the local community. We open up in the morning, sweep the floors, and wait for the first group to arrive. It’s a small life, but it feels right being here in the village with people we know.
