Breach Candy Hospital

This place is located at 60-a Bhola Bhain Desai Road in Mumbai. Most people around here just know it as the big hospital by the coast. It’s been sitting on this road for a long time, and we've seen the city change quite a bit from our windows. We have a lot of different departments here, from the emergency room to the specialized wards upstairs. It's a big building, so it can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We have nurses and doctors running around at all hours because the work never really stops. People come from all over Mumbai, and even further away, to get seen here. The location on Bhola Bhain Desai Road is pretty iconic, though traffic can be a nightmare during rush hour. We try to keep things moving as efficiently as possible, but hospitals are naturally busy places. You’ll find the main entrance easily enough from the street. There are plenty of staff members around to point you in the right direction if you get lost looking for a specific wing. It’s not always the quietest place, but that’s just how it is in a major city hospital. We’ve had generations of families come through these doors for all sorts of reasons. It’s a lot of responsibility, but everyone here just puts their heads down and gets on with their shifts. We’re just a bunch of people working to keep the place running day and night. We are here.
