Bothra Roadlines Pvt Ltd is based over at 187 F Saki Vihar, inside Vijay Estate. This part of Saki Vihar is always packed with trucks and delivery vans moving in and out. Our office is a busy place with phones ringing and drivers coming in to hand over their logbooks. We handle a lot of transport work, making sure goods get from one point to another without too much trouble. It’s a lot of coordination. I spend a lot of time on the phone checking where a certain truck has reached or if the loading is done. The paperwork can get a bit overwhelming sometimes, especially with all the different rules for different routes. Our space in Vijay Estate is practical. We have desks for the staff and a small area where drivers can sit and rest for a bit before their next trip. Traffic in this area can be a real headache, especially during the monsoon when the roads get muddy. But we are used to it by now. It’s a tough business because things don’t always go according to plan. A tire might burst or a road might be closed, so we are always adjusting the schedule. We’ve been at this for some time and have seen the area change quite a bit. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important to keep things moving. We just focus on getting the work done day by day and hope for clear roads to keep the deliveries on time.
