Mayur Ceramics

We have been here at Shop No. 7 in the Ramkumar Jagardev Ahir Chawl for a good while now. It is a busy spot near the police chowki in Borivali West. People usually find us when they are heading down L T Road near Babhai Naka. The shop is inside the Laxmi Chhaya Building area. It gets quite crowded on this street during the afternoons, mostly because of the traffic and people moving around the Kajupada area. Most of the time, we are just busy organizing the stock or helping someone pick out a tile or a washbasin for their bathroom. It is not a very big space, but we keep a lot of things packed in here. The mornings start early with cleaning the dust off the displays. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood passing by every day. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the vehicles outside, but you get used to it after a few years. It's just a regular local shop where we try to keep things moving. We deal with ceramics and stuff people need for their homes. If you are around Borivali West, you probably know where the police chowki is, and we are right there. Nothing fancy, just a plain shop where we do our work. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, other days everyone comes in at once. That's just how it goes here.
