You can find us over at 502 Orchid Plaza, which is right near Platform No. 1 at the Borivali station. They used to call it Platform 8, so some people still get confused when they are coming to see us. We are tucked just behind the Gokul Shopping Centre. It’s a very busy area, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to catch the train. Mascot Fashions operates out of this fifth-floor space. It’s a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up, which happens sometimes. Being so close to the station makes things easy for getting supplies in and out, even if the traffic in Borivali West is a total nightmare most afternoons. The office is usually full of half-packed boxes and rolls of material. It’s not the quietest place because you can hear the station announcements and the general roar of the market outside, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. It’s mostly just desks, a few racks of clothes, and us trying to keep up with the daily list of things to do. If you walk past the Gokul Shopping Centre and look up, that’s us. We’ve been here for a good bit now and know all the local tea sellers and the other folks in the building. It’s a practical spot for a business like ours. We just show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else.
