We are located in the Koyna Building over in Shantivan, Borivali East. It is a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit different from having a shop in a big market. We’re in room C-204. It’s a small setup, more of a personal workspace than a big store. We have people coming in mostly by appointment or just neighbors who know we’re here. Working out of a building like this means we don't get much foot traffic, but that’s fine with us. It stays quiet so we can focus on the work. We have our tools and a small safe where we keep everything locked up tight. Most of the day is spent at the bench, working on different pieces or talking to customers on the phone. Borivali can get very crowded during rush hour, so we try to get our errands done early in the morning before the trains get too packed. We’ve been here for a while now and the neighbors are used to us. Sometimes we have a coffee and look out the window at the kids playing downstairs. It is just a simple way to run a business. We don't have any fancy signs outside. If you know where the Koyna building is, you can find us easily enough. We just take things one day at a time, making sure each piece is handled right before it goes out.
