If you're looking for Dr. Pachore at Bombay Hospital, you have to head over to the New Wing. We are in Room 107 inside the MRC section. It can be a little confusing if you’ve never been to Marine Lines before, as the hospital is quite spread out. Once you get to the New Wing, things look a bit more modern, but it’s still a hospital at the end of the day. The room itself is where all the consultations happen. It’s not a huge space, just enough for the desk, some chairs, and the equipment we need. We stay busy from the moment the doors open until we pack up for the evening. Sometimes the schedule gets a bit backed up, and people have to wait in the hallway. We know it’s not ideal, but we try to give everyone the time they need. The staff tries to keep things organized, but with so many patients coming through, the paperwork piles up pretty fast. You can hear the hum of the city outside, but inside we’re just focused on the work at hand. Finding the MRC part can take a minute, so we usually tell people to ask the security guards near the entrance. They know the layout better than anyone. It’s a lot of walking back and forth for us every day, but we’ve gotten used to the pace of the New Wing and the general bustle of Marine Lines.
