About Bombay Hospital Trust – Medical & Healthcare in Mumbai
We’ve been over here at No. 12 New Marine Line for quite some time now. If you walk down the street, you can’t really miss the Bombay Hospital Trust building. It’s a big place and things are always moving fast around here. Most of us have been working in these halls for years, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s not a fancy setup, just a lot of rooms and hallways where people come when they aren't feeling their best. The lobby is usually a bit of a mess with people looking for directions or waiting on paperwork. We try to help out as much as we can, but it gets overwhelming sometimes when the shifts overlap. There’s always someone coming through the doors, whether it’s early morning or late at night. We don’t really have a lot of time for sitting around. The elevators are old and sometimes you have to wait a while, which can be annoying if you're in a hurry. Most of the staff just takes the stairs if it’s only a floor or two. It’s a busy life working in a hospital trust in this part of town. We just deal with whatever comes through the door each day. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. The building itself shows its age in some spots, but it’s sturdy. We just keep the lights on and keep going until the day is done.
