Our place is over at F-406 in Sarita Lok Darshan. It is located on Military Road in Marol, which is part of Andheri East. If you know Mumbai, you know how Military Road can get during the rush hour. It is quite a crawl. The building itself is a regular spot, nothing that stands out too much from the outside. We handle all the Bombay Fashion Jewellery work from this unit. It’s a mix of stock everywhere and people trying to get things organized. Marol is a busy area with a lot of people moving around, so there is always noise coming from the street. We’ve got desks set up and plenty of boxes. It’s not like those big fancy showrooms you see in the malls. It’s more of a practical space where the actual work happens. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs. We spend most of our mornings checking what came in and what needs to go out to the customers. The air conditioning works okay, but on really hot Mumbai days, we definitely feel the heat. We’ve been in this Sarita Lok Darshan spot for some time now. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation here in Andheri. We keep things moving, eat our lunch together, and try to keep the jewelry organized despite the space being a bit tight at times.
