Bombay Auto Head Services

We've been at Fozdar Compound in Kurla West for a long time now. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded around here, especially near the Bank of Maharashtra. Our shop, Bombay Auto Head Services, is right there at 165/A. It’s not a fancy place, just a lot of metal, tools, and oil. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot, though in Kurla it’s always a bit warm with all the traffic. We spend most of our time looking at engine parts and fixing up cylinder heads. It is oily work. My hands are usually black by noon. Sometimes people drop by just to ask directions because they get lost looking for the compound. We don't mind. The shop floor is usually covered in stuff we're working on, so you have to watch your step when you walk in. It gets loud with the machines running, so we end up shouting to hear each other. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. New buildings go up but we’re still here in the same spot. We keep some tea stuff in the back for when things slow down in the afternoon. It’s just how we do things. Not much to look at from the outside, but we know where every tool is kept. If the bank is open, we're usually busy working. That’s just the daily life here at the compound.
