Moses Road in Mahalakshmi, which means we are right in the thick of the Mumbai hustle. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but usually, it’s fine. The office is smaller than it looks on paper, filled with files and a few sample jars of what we’re processing. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets, trying to coordinate with the various suppliers. Being in Mahalakshmi is convenient because everything is close by, even if the traffic on Dr. E. Moses Road is a nightmare during rush hour. We can hear the trains and the cars all day long, but you get used to it after a week or two. It’s a plain office with grey floors and some old chairs we’ve had since we started. There isn't any fancy decor on the walls, just a calendar and some notes taped up near the computers. We eat our lunch at our desks most days or go down to the local stalls for some quick food.
