Blacks Furniture is tucked away in D-508 of Crystal Plaza on New Link Road. If you know Andheri West, you know how busy this stretch can get, especially in the evenings. Our showroom isn't the biggest, but we try to fit in as many pieces as we can so people can actually see what they’re buying. We’ve got sofas, wardrobes, and some dining sets squeezed into the space. Most of our work involves talking to people about their homes and what might fit in their small Mumbai apartments. We spend a lot of time on the Link Road, either waiting for deliveries or heading out to check on a setup. The building itself is always full of people, so there’s a lot of energy around. We aren't big on flashy marketing or expensive ads. We mostly just rely on people walking by the plaza or hearing about us from their friends. Sometimes the elevator in Crystal Plaza is slow, which makes moving heavy furniture a real pain, but we manage somehow. The staff here is just a few of us who have been together for years. We know where every screw and bolt is kept. It’s a bit dusty and crowded, but it’s our space. We just focus on getting the furniture put together right and making sure it gets delivered to the right address without any scratches.
