Bhawani Wood Arts

You can find us at 119, Shop No 3. We are in Nimbuwala Chaw, which is in Andheri West. It’s a very crowded area, as most people know. Bhawani Wood Arts is what we call ourselves. It’s a small shop, and we mostly work with wood. There is sawdust all over the floor, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just part of the job. We have a few saws and some hand tools that we use every day. It’s not a high-tech operation. We mostly rely on our hands and our eyes to get things right. The shop is a bit dark, so we have some bright tube lights on the ceiling. Andheri West is always full of energy, and you can hear the street noise even inside the shop. We’ve been in this chaw for quite a long time. The neighbors are good people, and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoons. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy showroom. We just have our work. People usually come to us because someone told them about us. We don't make any big promises. We just try to finish the wooden pieces on time and hope they look okay. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack things outside on the pavement. It’s a bit of a mess, but we make it work. That is just how it is.
