Om Engineering

You can find Om Engineering in the Om Heraitage Building on Kd Road. Being in Ville Parle is good because everything is close by, but the traffic can be a real pain. We do a lot of small-scale engineering work. It’s mostly metal stuff and repairs. The building is a bit older, and we have a space on the ground floor where we can bring in materials. We have a few lathes and some welding gear. It’s not a high-tech lab. It’s a workshop where things get oily and dirty. We’ve been at this for several years now. Some days we are busy with a big order, and other days we’re just fixing a gate or a bracket for someone down the street. We don't have a big marketing budget. We just rely on doing a decent job so people come back. The noise from the workshop can be a bit much for the neighbors, so we try to keep the loud work for the middle of the day. It’s just a few of us working here. We know the machines inside out. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves. It’s a simple life. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make things that work like they are supposed to. Kd Road is a busy place, so there’s always someone stopping by to ask for a quick fix or advice on a project they are starting.
