Our office is located at 66 Perin Nariman Street, up on the 5th floor of an old building in Fort. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded and narrow the streets are around here. It is always a bit of a scramble to get through the crowds of people and the street vendors. The building is one of those classic ones with a small elevator that sometimes feels like it has a mind of its own. We deal with food products from this office, mostly the administrative and sales side of things. It is not a kitchen or a factory, just a place with a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of phones ringing. We spend our days talking to suppliers and making sure orders are moving to the right places. It gets pretty loud in the office because we are all usually on calls at the same time. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, you just walk in and find someone at a desk. We have been in this spot for years and the view from the window is just more old buildings. It is a busy, cramped space but it suits the way we work. We are not trying to impress anyone with a polished corporate image. We just want to get the food orders processed and keep our customers happy. It is a bit messy sometimes, but that is just how business goes in Fort.
