If you are looking for us, we are located at Shop No 15 on the ground floor of the Shiva building in Mulund West. It’s a typical ground-floor shop that opens right onto the walkway. We sell a bit of everything that a household might need on a daily basis. The shelves are packed tight, and sometimes we have to use a long stick to reach the items kept on the top rows. It’s not the biggest shop in Mulund, but we make use of every inch of space we have. During the festive seasons, it gets really crowded with people coming in for supplies, and we often have boxes stacked up outside the door just to keep up with the demand. We don’t have a fancy website or any corporate branding. The name is painted on a simple board above the entrance. Most of our customers are people from the nearby apartments who have been coming to us for years. We know most of their names and what they usually buy. There’s always some chatter going on at the counter, whether it’s about the rising prices or just general gossip from the building. The floor is a bit worn down from all the foot traffic, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound when it’s on high speed, but it keeps us cool enough. We just focus on keeping the inventory full and making sure people get what they came for without too much fuss.
