We are located over in rooms 711 and 712 of Raikar Chambers. This is in Govandi, right on the 80 Feet Road. To be more specific, we are on R M V 2nd Road, which is basically right next to the Govandi Railway Station. Being so close to the station means we hear the trains coming and going all day long. Bhavani Shipping Services Pvt Ltd has been based in these two rooms for a good while. It’s a busy office because there is always a lot of paperwork involved with shipping and logistics. The 80 Feet Road is a major thoroughfare, so there’s a lot of activity outside our windows. We have a lot of files and logs that take up most of our desk space. The walk from the railway station to Raikar Chambers is very short, which is convenient for everyone who needs to visit. We spend our hours tracking shipments and making sure things are moving where they need to go. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us very busy. The office is a bit of a tight fit with all the staff and the equipment, but we make it work. Most of the time, we are just focused on the tasks at hand and the sounds of the neighborhood. It’s a very functional space in a very practical part of Govandi. We just keep our heads down and handle the shipping work that comes through.
