Bhatia Hospital

This hospital is situated in Kailash Nagar, right across from the Shoppers Stop in Kandivali West. It’s a very easy place to find because that landmark is so well known. We’ve been part of the Kandivali West scene for quite a while. The area is always buzzing with shoppers and commuters, which means our doors are always swinging open. Inside, the setup is pretty basic. We have our various departments and the staff going about their business. It’s not a corporate facility with a lot of rules about how to talk to people; we just speak normally and get the job done. The wait times can vary depending on the day, but we try to keep an eye on everyone. It’s a practical place for people living in Kailash Nagar. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. The floors are clean, the beds are ready, and the doctors are usually running from one room to another. It gets a bit noisy because of the street outside, but that’s just Mumbai life. We know most of the shopkeepers and residents nearby. It feels like a neighborhood spot even though it’s a hospital. We just handle the sicknesses and injuries as they come. There’s no need for big mission statements here. We just show up, do the shifts, and help the people who walk through the door across from Shoppers Stop.
