Bhat Roadways

Our business is based in Mulund East, specifically within the Keval Krupa Society. We are in building 2 B, in apartment 202. It might seem a little bit strange to have a company inside a residential society, but that is just how we have set things up for our home base. Mulund is a nice part of the city, a little quieter than the busy commercial hubs but still quite active in its own way. Because we run a roadways company, most of the actual action happens over the phone or at the various transport yards where the trucks are kept. We don't have a big warehouse attached to this office. Instead, this is the spot where we manage all the schedules and talk to our regular clients. The atmosphere here is very laid back, much like a family-run business. We have lived and worked around this neighborhood for many years, so we know the local streets and shortcuts better than anyone. When we first started out, it was just a tiny operation, and it hasn't changed much in terms of how we handle the day-to-day work. We like to keep things very simple. If a customer needs something moved, we just find the right truck and the best route for them. We don't use any complicated software or have long meetings. It is just us around a desk making sure the drivers are on the right track. Sometimes neighbors even stop by for tea.
