Bharat Telcom

Bharat Telcom is located at S403 on Chakala Road in Andheri (E). Anyone who works in this part of Mumbai knows that the traffic can be a real headache, especially during the morning rush hour. Our office is up on the fourth floor. The building isn't the newest one on the block, but it serves its purpose well enough for what we do. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot with the new metro lines and glass buildings going up everywhere. Inside our room, it’s mostly just a mix of desks and storage shelves. We don’t have any fancy decorations or a big lobby area. It’s a working office where we keep busy with the day-to-day tasks. The windows look out over the main road, and sometimes the noise from the street is quite loud, but we’ve grown used to the sound of the city. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out the constant honking. Finding a parking spot near the building is almost impossible, so most of us just use the public transport or walk from the station nearby. The lift is a bit slow and makes a funny creaking sound, so we usually warn people about it before they come up. It’s a practical place for us. We know where everything is, from the extra staplers to the hidden stash of tea biscuits.
