Bhagwati Transport Co

Bhagwati Transport Co is located over at 84 D 1 Baroda Street in Sec 35-D, right in the Amba Bhavan building. It’s a solid spot for us. Most days start before the sun is even up properly. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where the trucks are and if they’ve reached the checkpoints. It’s not always easy work, especially when the weather turns bad or the roads are blocked, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it over the years. The office is pretty simple, nothing special to look at, just desks and a lot of logbooks piled up. We aren't doing anything high-tech here, just manual tracking and talking to drivers. There’s always tea going in the corner because the days can get long. We deal with all sorts of goods, whatever people need moved from one place to another. It’s mostly just making sure things don’t get damaged and the timing is okay. Sometimes we have to stay late to wait for a delivery to come in, but that's part of the job. It gets loud out on the street with all the other businesses around, but you get used to the noise after a few weeks. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a bit now, and we know the other shop owners. It feels like a community. We just keep doing our bit every day and trying to get things where they need to go. It isn't glamorous, but the work gets done eventually.
