Bhagat Motor Store

If you go down 80 Feet Road in Colaba, past the 2nd Block and 2nd Stage, you’ll find our motor store. It’s at number 10. We deal with all sorts of motor parts and bits for vehicles. The shop has that specific smell of metal and oil that you’d expect from a place like this. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, packed with gaskets, bearings, and heavy metal components. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where everything is kept. Usually, we are wearing work clothes because things get dusty and greasy pretty fast. We spend the day talking to mechanics and drivers who need something fixed right away. The 80 Feet Road area gets quite a bit of traffic, which is good for us. We don’t have a lot of space for people to lounge around, just a counter where we take the orders and handle the cash. It’s a straightforward business. We wake up, open the shop, and start sorting through the orders. Sometimes we have to spend an hour just looking for one specific small bolt that a customer needs. It’s physical work and your hands are rarely clean at the end of the day. Colaba is a busy part of town, and we’ve been tucked away here for a good amount of time now. We just do our work and keep the store running for the people who need parts for their motors.
