Beramji Hospital

We have been operating here in Girgaum for quite a long time now. Most people around the neighborhood know our building because it is situated right across from the old Central Plaza Cinema. It is a very busy spot on Charni Road with people always moving about. We just keep things running day in and day out. The hospital is where local folks come when they are not feeling their best. We do not have any of those fancy lobbies or high-tech glass walls you see in the newer parts of Mumbai. It is just rooms and doctors and nurses who show up to do their jobs. Sometimes the hallways get a bit crowded because the street outside is always noisy and full of traffic. My grandfather used to talk about how much this specific area has changed over the decades, but the hospital has mostly stayed the same. We see a lot of the same families coming back through our doors. Most of our patients live right here in the Girgaon lanes. They usually just walk in because they already know exactly where we are. It is not a massive place, but we manage to handle what comes our way. The staff mostly lives in the nearby chawls or apartments too. We try our best to keep the floors scrubbed and the pharmacy counter stocked up. There is always someone sitting at the front desk. We do not spend any money on big advertisements or billboards. The building is old but it works for us. If you are looking for the place, just find the cinema first and look over.
