Bentex Engineering Pvt Ltd is based out of Andheri East on L B S Marg. This area is full of workshops and small factories, so there is always a bit of a hum in the air from machines running. Our place is quite practical. We have a lot of heavy metal parts and tools lying around. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains that have been there for years. We aren't the type of people to wear suits or have big meetings in glass rooms. Usually, we are in our work clothes, checking on a project or talking to the guys on the floor. It gets pretty loud during the middle of the day, so you have to speak up to be heard. We’ve been at this location for a long time and we know the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the L B S Marg traffic. It’s a lot of manual work and sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, but we just keep at it until it’s done. We have a small corner for files and an old computer that takes its time to start up. When the monsoon hits, we have to make sure the roof doesn't leak near the equipment. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We like the feeling of actually making something with our hands at the end of the day.
